The Stars represent the night.
The Outer gridwork in circumference represents the Rangers'
repel rope.
The semi-precious blue stone represents the oceans, rivers,
and streams we have all crossed together.
Clearly seen under the stone is an American Bald Eagle draped
in an American flag fronted by the
Rangers call of "HOOAH".

The Left Side of the Ring:
Background grid represents the cliffs of Normandy stormed
by the 2nd and 5th Ranger Battalions - D-Day June 6th 1944.
The image in the center of the ring represents, in detail,
the structural image of The Ranger Memorial dedicated August
25th 1994. Directly below the Carved Ranger Memorial is an
opened Parachute bringing a Ranger to battle.

The Right Side of the Ring:
Background grid represents the walls of Fort Ticonderoga.
1758 Ranger Patrols during the French and Indian War. 1756
thru the 1760's The Date, 5-23-1760, represents when Rogers
was finally commissioned by Governor of Massachusettes and
the Rangers were officially recognized as a fighting force.
The image in the center of the ring represents, in detail,
Major Robert Rogers forming Ranger companies under standing
orders that exist today. Cannon from regional forts, The Patrolling
Stick to support long walks, Iroquois War Hatchet, Powder
Horn and Black Beret. Directly below, the Arrowhead represents
your valued ally and the stillness from which a Ranger operates.
